Rama Meadow: 

Rama Meadow, located at the center of Astore Valley, is a vast expanse of lush green meadows surrounded by towering peaks and a glacier that is the main source of water for the adjacent areas. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature, go for a leisurely hike, and enjoy panoramic views of Nanga Parbat. Experience the local hospitality by staying in traditional wooden huts or campsites, and witness the starlit sky that illuminates the meadows at night. Chilim Choki: this place is the gateway to the famous Deosai plains and the beautiful Minimarg, Domel, and Qamari. Small hotels offer local sheep/goat mutton broth, worth tasting.  This place has historical importance as before KKH, traders and travelers used to stay over there before going to Rawalpindi via Kashmir.

The Rainbow Lake:

From Chilim Choki, approximately 36 kilometer south, is the heaven on the earth-the Minimarg Valley. It is a lush serene place with a thick forest, green pastures, and wildflowers. After traveling for a further few kilometers (14), one finds oneself in the supernatural pristine beauty of the Domel Valley and the legendary lake- the Rainbow Lake; it’s a worth-seeing place after the arduous journey through Burzil Pass.
